What do we do?
Science and conservation
All good zoos have an important mission: to help thousands of endangered species survive. We work every day against extinction, collaborating with global conservation projects, species reintroduction, captive breeding or through research projects.

ANIMALS REINTRODUCED INTO THEIR NATURAL HABITAT
The protection of the most vulnerable animals and plants and the health of ecosystems is at the heart of everything we do.
We want to give natural life a new chance, and open the way for new generations of conservationists, who will continue to work in defence of our biodiversity. We educate those who visit us to make visible the problems that we humans cause in ecosystems, and to try to reverse this trend.
As a centre for the rescue and recovery of species, we offer a new opportunity to many animals that have been victims of illegal trafficking, mistreatment and pet keeping, and that can no longer return to nature and enjoy a better life with us.
